A Little List

I have been feeling a little overwhelmed with inspiration! Is that even possible? I just see things that are beautiful and I want to bring those ideas, projects or designs into my life. I want to learn how to do more crafts and projects! I am working on a goals list for 2010 and the hard part is narrowing it down to something that is doable. Here are a few things that I really like right now. And I am sure a few will show up on my list!

I love this. It's subtle, wintery and I want to out on the town (while snowing) and then come home and cuddle with my love! (via Creature Comforts)

Ahhhhh...a romantic bedroom (and exposed brick to boot!) (via Belle Maison)

I love this dress, this wedding, this photographer and this photograph!
(visit Sheena Jibson Photography)

I really like tights. I just don't feel like I can pull off outfits with tights! 2010 goal maybe?

January is the perfect month for layering! I love layered looks!

I will work on my list and share as soon as it is complete! I can feel 2010 being a good year!
I just know it!
love, Emma

Freedom is found in their mane!

"In their innocence and wisdom, in their connection to the earth and its most ancient rhythms, animals show us the way back to home they have never left." ~Susan Chernak McElory

My beautiful, my beautiful! That standest meekly by, with thy proudly arched and glossy neck and dark and fiery eye! ~Caroline Norton

Where in this wide world can man find nobility without pride,
Friendship without envy,
Or beauty without vanity?
Here, where grace is served with muscle
And strength by gentleness confined
He serves without servility; he has fought without enmity.
There is nothing so powerful, nothing less violent.
There is nothing so quick, nothing more patient.
~Ronald Duncan, "The Horse," 1954
{my favorite!!!}

I adore the work of Tony Stromberg! He brings us into the world of horses. His photographs capture the spirit, innocence, and at the same time, the strength of equus. In Tonys' own words, “The spirit of the horse is a magnificent teacher to humanity." I was unable to get some of my favorites so I highly recommend you go to his sight and see these amazing images.

Love of my Life

I want to grow old with you. I want to eat breakfast in old diners and cafes around town while the world is at work. I want to travel in an RV and go on road trips. We could travel to oceans we have never seen before and walk hand in hand on cobbled streets in old towns and foreign countries. I want to bounce grandchildren on our laps and browse through family photos in dusty albums. Lets grow old together and lay in parks and sit on benches. We could decide to go to a movie or take a train to a new place, we could take art classes or dance lessons and go on a cruise. Lets grow old together. ♥ emma
