I watched Marley and Me last night. I wanted to read the book first but I couldn't help myself. I weeped like a little baby! Dogs are amazing creatures! and I still want a kitty! Out of old and a little gold a flower blooms!

I want each one to grace my table! Or maybe just my shelves because I would be so torn to pieces if anything happened to one these once I had it! These beautiful dinnerware pieces are from Horne. Old, chipped plates and teacups were given new life with gold and floral touches!

Open to a beautiful world...

I visited decor8 this morning and found this lovely book on called Love Book. The very talented Samantha Hahn has put together this wonderful book full of fellow artists interpretations of "Love" through art and words. From what I have seen it is beautiful and full of artists I love, admire, and follow. Found on Blurb. I just adore Samantha Hahns work and wanted to share some...












Theeen...this afternoon I visited Oh Joy! where I found that the creative and lovely Kat Macleod also has a book which is named Like I Give a Frock! Aaaannnd.... I want this! Kat is also an artist whose work can just brighten my day. Her color and style are fun and feminine and I love her!

Pretty is in Store...

I have decided to go to some antique shops tomorrow that I have been longing to discover. I know I will get lost in the browsing but I desperately hope that I find some goodies. Maybe some things like...

It has rained here all day. Little drops and big drops.


I decided today I need a new umbrella, mine just will not do. I would love a sweet little umbrella with a duck head handle. Although, I do like Mary Poppins' bird umbrella!

I did find a cute duck one that I think would be perfect on days like this one!
Or I found this fantastic birdcage one that I wouldn't mind owning.
Either way I would be peachy out in the rain with one of these to keep my head dry. But then again once your wet it is so much fun!

Little Lovely Dreams

In my little dreams I live here...

Isn't dreaming wonderful and magical! I could live here, maybe I once have lived here and woke up wrapped in crisp white sheets, stretched and yawned with perfectly clean cool air touching my skin. Maybe I did tip toe outside to feel the dew about my feet and listen to the morning birds speak to one another. And maybe I spread my lavender blanket on the grass near the garden full of fragrant peonies and garden roses, purple and white cornflower, hollyhock and bleeding hearts. And I sit to read my favorite book all morning long as blades of grass bent in the breeze to tickle my fingertips... yes I love little dreams.
