I watched Marley and Me last night. I wanted to read the book first but I couldn't help myself. I weeped like a little baby! Dogs are amazing creatures! and I still want a kitty! Sweet Thing!

I am looking forward to this one! "Where the Wild Things Are" is so classic and special! It looks like they did a wonderful job with the interpretation, making a movie that will allow children to fall in love with this enchanting book and give adults a chance to revisit childhood in a whole new and exciting way!

I stumbled upon this cutie while browsing Things We Like. I thought it looked brilliantly sweet and the trailer was mysterious enough to make me want to know more about this boy and a penguin in a row boat! Based on a children's book by Oliver Jeffers, I am looking forwad to this one as well!

I watched The Secret Life of Bees over the weekend and I really enjoyed it! I read the book a while back and was pleasantly surprised at how well it translated into a film. I also enjoyed all of the actresses chosen for the roles, they did a wonderful job. Here is the trailer and you should check out the soundtrack. It's vert sweet.

It has rained here all day. Little drops and big drops.


I decided today I need a new umbrella, mine just will not do. I would love a sweet little umbrella with a duck head handle. Although, I do like Mary Poppins' bird umbrella!

I did find a cute duck one that I think would be perfect on days like this one!
Or I found this fantastic birdcage one that I wouldn't mind owning.
Either way I would be peachy out in the rain with one of these to keep my head dry. But then again once your wet it is so much fun!

The Beauty of Atonement (a small obsession)

I know Atonement is not a new movie but I was thinking about it today and had to share my almost obsession for this oh so lovely movie. The movie itself was good (as well as the book), passionate, fun, and tragic. But I thought it was so visually appealing. Everything from the costumes to the surroundings. Breathtaking! Just makes you want to jump in and be in this pretty world.
