Hallelujah

MusicPlaylist
MySpace Playlist at MixPod.com

Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?
Well it goes like this :
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
And she tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the HallelujahBaby I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor,
I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
and love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Well there was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show that to me do ya
But remember when I moved in you
And the holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah Lyrics Originally by Leonard Cohen
Sung here by Jeff Buckley

I was tagged by the lovely and talented Honeytree Photography (my goodness go see her blog and etsy shop. I love her work.)

7 pieces of me:

#1 I was born in Connecticut but grew up in the southern city of Savannah, GA
#2 I love the beach, the ocean, rivers, any body of water really. But I have a fear of being in water where I can not touch or see below my feet. It freaks me out to think of a huge ocean or deep lake under me.
#3 I played the flute in the marching band in High School. Not very good at it but I loved it!
#4 I prefer the warm softness of a cake or cupcake right out of the oven with no icing.
#5 Leonardo DiCaprio has been the only big celebrity crush that I have ever had. I had posters and mags with his pictures. I watched Titanic 3 times in the theater and then made my mom take me to wal-mart before school to buy the double VHS with $22 of my hard earned money.
#6 I was voted Ms Congeniality in my high school pageant. (I would like to say I am not really a pageant girl. Which is probably why I was Ms. Congeniality!)
#7 Growing up my gramma made an Oreo pie that I loved so much I have requested it for my birthday cake since I was very little. I actually can not remember the last time I had an actual birthday cake on my birthday!

I am supposed to tag 7 others but it is late and I can not think any more. So I will tag tomorrow and share my books finally (I have been slack with this). So have a very nice night (or day). Be back tomorrow (or today). ♥Emma

I'm listening to that song "Hallelujah" again...becuase I do love it and haven't put it on my iPod yet.

I think it was used in a movie I've seen more than once, but I can't come up with it. I can almost see it, and I sure can hear it, but I can't quite put them together.

Any ideas?
